Our first pearl party "Bloom With Us" at BeKind was a success! We couldn't have kicked things off in a better way. We were excited to welcome 21 of our Pearls. We welcomed our Pearls and started off the party with a "get to know you bingo". This allowed the girls an opportunity to get to know each other better and find common interest. After, the girls all enjoyed a meal together while we shared more about our programming and what they can expect moving forward. We concluded with all of the girls creating their own beautiful flower bouquets to take home with them.

We were very proud of our turnout of 21 girls and are excited to keep up the momentum for the remainder of our events for our pearls to come to our events and feel welcomed.

Our Pearls had such a great time at this year’s Pearl Picnic! The focus of the day was on setting SMART goals for the upcoming school year.

We started off with a relaxed picnic-style meal and plenty of good conversation. Afterwards, everyone gathered in small groups to talk about their goals and plans. Board member Ivette Padron led a short and inspiring lesson on how to create SMART goals—specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

Each Pearl received a journal to write down her goals and track her progress throughout the year.

To wrap up the day, we came together for games, popsicles, and lots of laughs. It was a fun and meaningful afternoon filled with friendship, learning, and inspiration for the year ahead.
