In accordance with the mission and objectives of the Waco Hanan Foundation, student participants are required to engage in scheduled community service volunteer opportunities. Students are expected to understand the importance of community involvement and needs while gaining valuable skills in dedication, leadership, and innovation that promote their personal growth.

Community check -ins are personalized, informal nurturing roundtable discussions. With the support of the foundation, students are expected to center themselves with a mindfulness moment to reflect on personal concerns, growth, and opportunities. Check-ins will have small conversation starter topics that encourage self-empowerment and unity among participants.

Instructional activities are carefully designed sessions aimed at helping girls acquire new skills and knowledge. These sessions may be curated to reflect current events. Example of these events are etiquette lunch, Self-defense course, Mental and physical health.
